1. What made you decide to join SQORUS for your internship? <\/h2>\n

I was aiming for a career as a consultant because of the diversity of assignments and projects. SQORUS offered me exactly that, and what’s more, it stood out from the crowd of other firms undergoing transformation, for two reasons. <\/p>\n

Firstly, the person I interviewed had been with SQORUS for over 10 years. Talking to someone who had chosen to stay with the company for so long reassured me that SQORUS offers a fulfilling environment for its employees. <\/p>\n

SQORUS also holds the Great Place to Work France<\/strong><\/a>award, which confirmed my choice.<\/p>\n

2. What struck you most about the SQORUS corporate culture during your internship?<\/h2>\n

There’s a strong culture of mutual support at SQORUS. You can ask anyone a question, or ask for help. Even if you’ve never met them before, even if you’re not on the same team or working for the same customer. <\/p>\n

3. How were you supported by your tutor\/manager during your internship?<\/h2>\n

My tutor supported me both technically and functionally<\/strong>. First of all, she organized a training<\/strong> session to prepare me for my internship topic, as it was a technology I had no prior knowledge of. <\/p>\n

Then she set up a system for monitoring my work and my internship, with both meetings and deliverables. When the subject of my internship deviated from her field of activity, my manager took over. <\/p>\n

4. What was the best thing you learned from working with the IT experts at SQORUS?<\/h2>\n

My internship was based on the use of two low-code development tools for integrating<\/strong> information systems.<\/p>\n

I learned everything during my internship. My best learning experience was with my tutor, who tailored my training to my needs and was always available to answer any questions I had.<\/p>\n

Apart from learning under my tutor that I mentioned earlier, my best learning was from the Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) experts<\/strong> atIT<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Indeed, even if I wasn’t necessarily working with them on the same subject, if I had a problem or a question, they always took the time to help and explain.<\/p>\n

5. How did your internship at SQORUS prepare you for your current permanent role?<\/h2>\n

My internship at SQORUS prepared me both technically and functionally<\/strong> for my current role as a consultant on a permanent contract.<\/p>\n

This experience prepared me technically, as my current activities are an extension of what I learned during this period.<\/p>\n

But beyond the technical aspects, I learned about the Council’s posture: how to interact with customers, how to give good advice, how to convey the SQORUS values…<\/p>\n

6. How have you continued to evolve and develop your skills since joining the company?<\/h2>\n

Since joining the company, I’ve continued to broaden my expertise and have learned to use new Oracle tools<\/strong> related to those I discovered during my internship, such as Oracle HCM Cloud<\/strong> and BI Publisher<\/strong>. The evolution is constant! <\/p>\n

7. What would you say to an IT student hesitating to apply for an internship at SQORUS?<\/h2>\n

The Council sector is a good way to discover different fields, business sectors, tools… It’s the best choice if you’re afraid of monotony. And SQORUS is one of the firms that sends its interns out to work with customers, which is unusual but highly beneficial! <\/p>\n
