Aya EL ABDIOUI<\/strong> joined SQORUS for an end-of-studies internship<\/a> in the EPM division as an EPM consultant<\/strong><\/a>. This field, at the intersection of finance<\/strong>, technology<\/strong>, and data<\/strong>, had appealed to her long before she took her first steps in the industry. <\/p>\n

She shares with us what her internship taught her about the profession and her professional growth.<\/p>\n

At the heart of EPM: a focus on topics that matter <\/h2>\n

From my very first weeks on the job, I worked on high-stakes projects<\/strong> with demanding and inspiring clients. I contributed to consolidation<\/strong> and OneStream workshops<\/strong>, used tools such as Oracle HFM<\/strong> and OneStream<\/strong>, and helped draft proposals and presentation materials. <\/p>\n

In consolidation, you quickly realize that data reliability and traceability aren’t just important\u2014they’re essential. It’s a reality you only truly learn through hands-on experience. <\/p>\n

I also completed a training program<\/a> focused on business analysis<\/strong>, which enabled me to define project scopes, reformulate requirements, and formalize clear deliverables.<\/p>\n

The \u201cConsultant Mindset\u201d<\/a><\/strong> training course also helped me better understand the unwritten rules of consulting<\/strong>, how to interact with clients, and best practices in the field.<\/p>\n

The diversity of clients and industries makes the experience very rewarding and helps develop a genuine ability to adapt.<\/p>\n
