Oracle Day – Explore & Practice was held on September 23 at the Casablanca Technopark, bringing together startups, scale-ups, and innovative companies to address a single question: Is your infrastructure ready to support your growth?
For more than two hours, SQORUS and Oracle shared with the audience a concrete vision of digital transformation, featuring technical demonstrations, case studies, and direct discussions with experts.
An initiative led by two key partners
The event was opened by Idriss JANATI, Managing Director of Oracle Morocco, and Achraf SAIDI, Managing Director of SQORUS Morocco, both of whom emphasized the importance of this historic partnership between SQORUS and Oracle, and its renewed presence at the heart of Morocco’s innovation ecosystem, in the presence of the Technopark teams.

A New Perspective on Oracle’s Sovereign Data Center in Morocco
Hicham BENBELLA, Senior AI & Cloud Architect at Oracle Morocco, along with Yassine BOUYAAKOBI, Account Executive at Oracle, discussed Oracle’s investments in Morocco, the services currently available in the region, and how startups can practically leverageOracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
They also presented several reference architectures as well as the training program designed for Morocco (Training & LiveLabs).
A comprehensive overview of Oracle tools, with live demonstrations
SQORUS consultants took turns presenting—with demonstrations—the full range of Oracle solutions:
- Amine EL JERMATI and Zakaria LAGRAINI demonstrated how to deploy a high-performance, secure cloud environment in just a few minutes on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
- Douae ISMAILI presented the Oracle Fusion Cloud interfaces and BI tools for integrated management of business functions
- Ayoub AIN RAHBA demonstrated Oracle APEX, from concept to application in just a few clicks
- Soufiane LAMHOUBI concluded this overview with a focus on integration and artificial intelligence, specifically the relationship between OIC and the generative AI tools available on OCI
A time for sharing
The event concluded with a networking session over a buffet, allowing participants to speak directly with representatives from SQORUS and Oracle, explore certain use cases in greater depth, and leave with concrete ideas for their own digital transformation.
