A closer look at our history

Over 30 years of encounters, transformation & innovation

SQORUS was born over 30 years ago from the meeting of two colleagues (Amadou NGOM and Marc-Edouard BELLEST) and their desire to help users get to grips with IT tools.

The training activities of what was then known as S&H (Des Systèmes & Des Hommes) gave way to projects involving business Council, implementation, development and migration around information systems…

S&H and then SQORUS have adapted to new digital and organizational challenges, to the arrival of the Cloud, and to changes in working practices. We have succeeded in forging strong partnerships with the market’s leading publishers, attracting business and technical experts, while maintaining our values of solidarity, diversity and commitment within our teams.

This growth has been possible thanks to a number of wonderful human encounters: those of our committed, supportive employees, and those of our prestigious customers and partners, who renew their trust year after year, in some cases for more than 15 years.

Through its story, SQORUS aims to capture the brand’s human personality and its ability to transform itself. His actions have won him numerous awards and trophies.

2023 (October)

SQORUS welcomes SMARTHYS

SQORUS expands its expertise in financial performance management and workforce planning with SMARTHYS.

SQORUS enhances its service offering with EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) and CPM (Corporate Performance Management) solutions. In particular, by capitalizing on strong partnerships with Oracle/Hyperion, OneStream, Amelkis EPM, BOARD, Anaplan, Power-BI and Tableau.

SQORUS GPTW and Best Workplace for women

For the 3ᵉ year running, SQORUS has joined the Great Place for Women ranking.

2023 (July)

Workday partnership

SQORUS becomes a Workday Business Advisory partner, to support its customers in the AMOA, Change and TMA aspects of Workday solutions.

SQORUS enters the African market

Opening of the 1ʳᵉ subsidiary in Abidjan.

2021 (November)

Growth strategy award

SQORUS wins the Growth Strategy award at the ESN 2021 trophy organized by Numeum.

2021 (June)

Oracle User Club Awards

SQORUS wins 2 trophies: the Adaptation and Anticipation Trophy and the Coup de Coeur Trophy voted by the public.

2021 (January)

S&H is now SQORUS

S&H celebrates its 30th anniversary and changes its identity to become SQORUS. By grouping all its expertise under a common brand, SQORUS affirms its commitment to offering its customers the experts and solutions best suited to modernizing their HR, Finance and IT functions.

S&H welcomes Ardian

S&H welcomes Ardian to its capital to support its development and growth.

Axway partnership

S&H signs a partnership with Axway to strengthen its expertise in BI and Data Management solutions.

2019

Oracle Awards

S&H wins the 2019 ORACLE HCM Cloud Partner Award.

2018

Nessium buyback

S&H acquires Nessium Council, an ESN specializing in ERP Finance implementation, and reorganizes its activities into 2 divisions: the HR Division for HR Information Systems consulting and transformation activities, and the Finance Division for accounting and financial information systems.

With this acquisition, S&H also becomes a partner of Kyriba, Domo, Vroozi and TradeShift. S&H has established itself as ORACLE's main partner for the company's cloud solutions.

2018 (September)

Talents Awards

S&H wins the Talents prize at the ESN Trophy organized by Syntec Numérique.

2018 (June)

Anaplan Partnership

S&H signs a partnership with Anaplan to strengthen its BI offering and expertise.

2018 (February)

Oracle Awards

S&H wins the ORACLE PaaS Partner Award 2018.

2015

1ʳᵉ participation in GPTW

For its first participation in the Great Place To Work ranking, S&H came in 26ᵉ place in the ranking of companies with 50 to 500 employees. SQORUS will be 4ᵉ in 2023, 9 years later. 1st

2006

Creation of Talentys

To better meet customer needs, S&H creates the subsidiary Talentys, a company specializing in HR support. S&H starts working on Cloud solutions from vendors such as Vurv, Taleo, CornerStone, who become its partners. This subsidiary will join the SQORUS group in 2021.

1998

Oracle partnership

S&H signs a partnership agreement with Oracle, becoming a preferred partner for PeopleSoft implementation projects and, in 2011, for Oracle HCM Cloud projects.

1997

PeopleSoft expertise

Building on its IT service center developed two years earlier, S&H develops its expertise around the People Soft ERP. The company signs its first significant PeopleSoft contract in Lausanne with Philip Morris.

S&H became a partner of PeopleSoft, which was later acquired by ORACLE. ERP implementation becomes the core business of S&H.

1995 (February)

New offers

S&H is diversifying its services by developing an IT offer around specific developments and local networks.

S&H offers its new skills to its existing clients such as GAN Assurances or ELF.

1990

Creating Systems & People (S&H)

S&H founded by Amadou NGOM and Marc-Edouard BELLEST. It offers training courses for Information Systems users, specializing in office automation tools and business applications. These customers are mainly major accounts in industry and finance.

A new identity created in 2021 to meet its customers’ HR, Finance and IT transformation challenges

In the digital age, in a rapidly changing world, S&H needed to transform itself to meet its customers’ expectations and approach the Council market from a new angle. By putting technology and talent back at the heart of its strategy, the new SQORUS identity has positioned itself. It responds to our customers’ new strategic challenges around the evolution of organizations, information systems, AI, Big Data and Analytics.

We are convinced that the HR, FINANCE and IT functions play an essential role in a company’s performance and future development. They are the main levers for deploying the company’s strategy. This change of identity marks a new page in the history of SQORUS, serving the new challenges facing support functions.

A new identity to capture the brand’s human personality

The new name SQORUS combines the transparent word “score” with the English “us”. The verb “scorer”, which means to score a point, expresses SQORUS’s desire to help its customers achieve results. The English pronoun “us” emphasises the collaboration and team spirit of the company.

The combination of these two terms gives rise to the transparent term “chorus”, which conjures up the image of a unanimous, perfectly tuned choir, reinforcing the perception of a close-knit team at the service of the customer. SQORUS carries a positive and motivating message, encouraging teams to excel with and for others.

The logo, which represents this name, exploits the combination of the letters Q and O. The letter Q, represented in the shape of a magnifying glass, reflects the expertise and meticulousness of the services offered by SQORUS.

Finally, the signature “People And Solutions That Matter” symbolizes the firm’s promise to its customers to offer them Talents and Solutions adapted to their challenges. This signature affirms the company’s difference and positioning, with the dual expertise of SQORUS teams, both technical and functional, capable of offering multi-publisher solutions with the skills to deploy them.
