Can you present your experiences before joining SQORUS?

I have worked for more than 4 years on SAP HR project deployment, in large international groups. Then I decided to work abroad, mainly in Turkey and Algeria, for almost 2 years to deploy SAP HR/HRBP solutions. A rewarding career path that allowed me to acquire a solid foundation in the deployment of HR projects, mainly on the SAP solution.

Why did you join SQORUS?

When I came back to France, I had several proposals in several firms, more or less big and more or less known, but I chose SQORUS for several reasons and especially for the human values. The deciding factor was the training on a new solution that I was completely unfamiliar with, HCM Cloud, and the promise of being quickly placed on a customer assignment. The feeling finished to convince me.

Before joining the Cloud Academy, did you know about Oracle’s HCM Cloud?

No, I was more focused on SAP, SuccessFactors… I had never worked on HCM Cloud. It was even more of a challenge for me.

How did the Cloud Academy go?

The training started shortly after my arrival at SQORUS and lasted one month, in the headquarters in Paris 9ème.

After a launch kick-off debriefing the challenges of the Cloud Academy, 15 internal speakers (employees and managers from the HR division) presented all theHCM Cloud modules: Core-HR, Compensation, Profile, Succession and Talent review.

Theoretical training periods were alternated with practical exercises and feedback, it was concrete.

What did the Cloud Academy bring you?

Undeniably in-depth knowledge of the HCM Cloud solution. And more generally a global vision of the Oracle HCM ecosystem that I was not aware of at all. Feedback from stakeholders is also very valuable today. It was a great human adventure that I enjoyed sharing with my new colleagues.

And after the Cloud Academy?

I did a 4-week shadowing (training and practice period) at one of our clients in the energy sector to work on the implementation of the Learn module (training management). Being accompanied by a mentor for this first mission, I always felt supported. I also supported the teams already in place for the Core-HR upgrade. Being able to join a mission and put my knowledge into practice directly after the training was very beneficial. I didn’t feel like I was wasting time. I have been on assignment for a few months now in a large insurance group to administer the compensation management system, a project that I would not have been able to integrate without the Cloud Academy.
