Manager Finance & Business Transformation

I started my career in a large international consulting firm. Afterwards, I wanted to work in a smaller company, so that I could enjoy a closer working relationship with my colleagues.

Just over 3 years ago, I joined SQORUS’ Finance & Business Transformation division as Manager. I’m more specifically in charge of AMOA Finance offers.

In this context, I deal with regulatory issues such as IFRS, as well as organizational issues such as fast close (a project to reduce accounting closing times), and e-commerce issues such as e-Payment (support for projects linked to the implementation of PSPs: payment service providers).

• Management close to the teams: this is built around the values of benevolence and high standards. Employees are not just numbers, they are supported in their professional development and help them to grow.

• Offer construction adapted to the realities of the field: SQORUS is very attentive to feedback from its consultants on market trends, and always listens to its customers, who are a “laboratory” for ideas.

• An international development project: SQORUS is keen to expand internationally, particularly on the African continent where numerous digitalization projects are underway.

In summary, my job consists of:

• To support consultants in their development and career paths, and give them the means to achieve this.

• To support Finance Departments and IT Departments in their digital and business transformation, to advise on regulatory changes and their impact on the Finance IS, to help them choose the right solutions, and to assist them with process transformation and change management.

• Unleash team energies to create a friendly working atmosphere and realistic, innovative value propositions. In short, to make things possible for our consultants and customers.

Thanks to SQORUS, I discovered the world of insurance when I was coming from the world of industry and services. I was asked to work on the construction of new offers, and to participate in the construction of SQORUS’s strategy for the 21-24 plan.

Each employee can be an actor in the life of the company, for my part, I participate in the following points:

• Internal workshops on company processes and how to improve them;
• Space planning ;
• Organization of afterwork and board game evenings (one of my passions!).

Each consultant is involved in sales development to a greater or lesser degree: offer, sales proposal, expansion, publisher partnership…

As a manager, we drive proposal writing with the sales and consulting teams, and we work daily with our teams to improve our offerings and create new ones.

A junior consultant has every chance of success if he shows enthusiasm and intellectual curiosity, while not neglecting method.
